These Alto Home Cold Brew Filters are ideal for mason jars and quart batches of cold brew using 3oz to 6oz of coarse ground coffee. 

Simply add ground coffee to your Alto Cold Brew Filter and submerge in water. Steep grounds in a wide mouth jar for 16-24 hours (adjust to taste), pull the filter and dispose of the spent grounds and filter bag. 

Cold brew coffee will continue tasting great if stored in an air tight container inside the refrigerator for several days! This is a great option for keeping caffeine conveniently on-hand for all hours of the day.

Our preferred recipe is 65 grams of coffee ground on a coarse setting (#20-22 on the Baratza Encore Grinder) to steep in 1 liter of water. Let steep 18-20 hours and adjust to taste.
